I’ll take a hot dog in one hand and a ice cold lemonade (beer) in the other. Please and thank you! With the 4th of July weekend approaching it becomes another occasion you can dress to theme. But, is red, white and blue a do or a don’t? I say absolutely a do; the look can be pulled off in a decidedly non-tacky way!
Denim cut-offs are always a great canvas to start with because you can build off of the simplicity. A great pair is hard to come by, these are by One Teaspoon which are some of my favorites but ANY vintage Levis are a great go-to as well. Once you have your starting point, incorporating the red, white and blue is the easy part. Stripes are sure fire way to pull of the look without over doing it. A red and white stripe or a blue and white stripe you choose! You can supplement with the remaining color in your accessories to complete the subtly festive look:)
