Shoe designer Christian Louboutin has said that “high heels are pleasure with pain”, and I would 100% agree with that statement! I love a great high heel moment just as much as the next “red sole” loving girl but a lot of the time, whether it is my 5’8 height, occasion, or the pure fact that I truly just LOVE sneakers, they have been a go-to of mine for quite some time now! The great thing about loving sneakers and still loving them now, is that the “athleisure” look came into trend and really hasn’t left (I’ll continue to wear my sneaks when it does lay down but for now I am happy to “conform”.
I have a range of brands that I love to wear and always looking for new ones. So if anyone has any brands to suggest, lets hear them! The Nike “Roshes” are awesome because they are super light-weight and comfortable, they also don’t cost an arm and a leg. I picked these ones up a little bit ago but, Nike is always coming out with great patterns on a lot of their sneakers especially the “roshes”. The pattern and colors of these is easy to match with a lot in my wardrobe(probably why I gravitated towards them). Sneakers are supposed to be fun! I think it’s because they tend to remind me of being a kid. Be playful with the sneaks and keep the rest of the outfit on the more mature side just to make sure the it doesn’t become kitschy.
