Every blogger & their grandma’s sister has been sporting the Gucci Princetown Fur Loafers for a few seasons now, but they come at a hefty price. Too hefty of a price for myself to jump on that trend bandwagon, but plenty of people and their grandmothers have! Whichever camp you’re in when it comes to the fur-lined loafer, this style has become this year’s viral shoe of the moment. It served as streetstyle photographer bait across the circuit, with bloggers and streetstyle stars alike sporting them in every which way. These bad boys can add a luxe quirk to any outfit.
When the dust settles and these have become a little more accessible to purchase (meaning they aren’t sold out) I still can’t see myself making such a grand purchase for such a trendy piece. That’s the nature of the beast in the world of fashion and when money is a non-issue. If you have the financial ability to spend someones rent money on a pair of slippers, I salute you but I also think it’s rad that brands provide the high fashion that people want for a more wallet friendly price.
