Layering has become especially popular these past few seasons whether it’s a white tee with a silk cami or a casual button-down shirt under roomy pullovers. Layering pullovers over shirts is so much more comfortable and easy to pull together in our current fashion era of fluid and oversized fits. The concept of creating a look that is “just flattering enough”, instead of one that is strictly conventionally flattering, further solidifies the combination as a stylish option.
A collared shirt is just too “stiff” for me so I had to add a leather jacket so the look became more casual and deconstructed.
Add a muted color to the overall monochromatic color scheme and it will open the possibility to accessories.
