Cali-Girl Swag-ish

Fact: Nothing’s cooler than a vintage tee. Whether emblazoned with retro cartoon characters (Mickey Mouse), nostalgic brands (Camp Beverly Bills, anyone?), or an iconic rock band, the right one can totally transform an outfit. When it comes to finding these badass shirts there are a couple of options: Rifling through your dads drawers for his favorite rock concert memorabilia or scouring vintage websites or picking through vintage shops in your area. Once you’ve found the right one, play around with how you style it.

I’m not one for wearing a t-shirt with a band on it when I wouldn’t be able to tell you what their most famous song was/is, so I decided to grab this cowboy boot tee that felt more authentic to me. Once you’ve found the right one, play around with how you style it. To me, there is no “cooler” or “easier” way to style a graphic tee then to pair it with you favorite denim cutoffs. It gives the look a super relaxed feel without feeling to over done or styled. An outfit like this is a sure fire way to kill the west-coast cali girl style that sometimes (ONLY SOMETIMES) I like to incorporate into my style rotation.

Adding small details that pull this look together, like this western inspired Zara crossbody is a great way to keep the look cohesive and polished.
